Watertanks
Drinking water project: Many people have no access to clean water in many Indian villages. They often have to walk for miles to carry water home. Mostly it is the work of women and children. For this reason many children aren’t able to go to school. Water is life. So we have set ourselves the target of building water fountains in seve-ral villages.
Street and garbage children
Every Saturday morning approximately 600-800 street but also garbage children come to the center Don Bosco Nitika to a game morning. Some of them already attend a school. Seamstresses
18 women are trained in the centre of Don Bosco Nitika for a year as seamstresses. The sewing training takes place at different days a week, not daily. From time to time, a larger electric sewing machine which remains at the centre is purchased, it costs about € 300.
